The project focused on enhancing internal processes for validating key performance indicators and operational data. To support quality assurance and system reliability, we introduced a scalable automated testing framework tailored to the company’s internal tools.

The client is a major European energy provider with over a century of experience in delivering electricity and investing in renewable energy and infrastructure. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and infrastructure, the company plays a key role in securing 24/7 energy supply across Europe and beyond.

We worked on an internal system designed to support operational reporting and KPI validation. The solution included the Operational Reporting Portal (ORP) and Loss Validation Tool (LVT). It was aimed at streamlining fleet-wide loss allocation and enabling operations teams to efficiently validate and approve reported performance metrics.

Project delivery Development process

Our role involved setting up the Cypress testing environment from scratch, writing a suite of initial automated tests, and integrating the Allure reporter to visualize results.

By implementing this foundation, we significantly improved test coverage, reduced manual QA time, and laid the groundwork for future scalability. This contributed to more efficient deployment cycles and higher system reliability for internal users.
