While there are several services that provide information regarding events, there are few or no applications specially designed for teenagers and people who study at University. As a result, it is sometimes hard to find something specialized according to personal lifestyle needs and requirements. This is why TapMatch has been started as a passionate idea to bring a brand-new app for those who want to stay informed and updated about the latest events based on what they like, on connections and time they have for all these entertainments.

In this increasingly digitized and fast-speed world, the app helps revolutionize the way we live and chill, as it allows us to create and join any event with only a tap of the finger. TapMatch’s founders came with only an idea and design. They wanted us to develop an application that would work smoothly, have high functionality, and still be incredibly easy to use by people of all ages.
The main challenge we faced was the design that our clients bring from their side. Since their UX/UI designer wasn’t experienced in the technical details of the future platform, the layout they suggested contained many items that were either inconvenient or impossible to add on chosen cross-platform.

We decided to move forward with what we had and discussed the problem with its founders with a goal to customize the app. The result was impressive; our development team put all efforts in order to ensure the final product works on Android and iOS platforms and still meet both – client’s requirements and the design provided by their team member.
What is more, users can also add chosen people to the particular event to guarantee it will be attended by only trusted friends. The app suggests user events according to their location, so it won’t be hard to reach them. The platform can also share events via referral links among other services for ultimate convenience.
TapMatch now is a great application that helps users easily create, join, cancel and suggest new events based on their location and connections. To create something, the user has to tap the button in the map, give the name and location of the event, and it will be available in the private “room.”

PHP was our choice for the back-end development as it is a widely used open-source scripting language with the primary ability to generate dynamic page content. In addition, PHP provided us with multiple, free choices for web frameworks that make it an ideal language for TapMatch. Since we had to build an app for both smartphone versions, React Native was the go-to option for a slick, smooth interface, high functionality, and reduced load time.
TapMatch has been successfully launched on Android and Apple Store without any problems, and now it is used by millions of people worldwide. The clients have admitted our dedication, flexibility, open communication, and transparency during the development process.
