Penn Vet is a brand-new veterinarian application that we developed from scratch to help the client realize his idea for further usage. The app is designed for animal shelters that constantly struggle with documentation. It contains all the needed features to make the work of shelters easy and convenient.
The customer is the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine that runs the Shelter Medicine Program. Therefore, Penn Vet had to become the main application for this program. While most shelters lack information and struggle with manual documentation work, this app was designed to make it easier for shelter employees and owners to manage their work and help more animals.
The client did not have any technical background, so it was vital for him to find a development partner who would help understand the complex process with no hidden things. Since Interexy has already worked with this industry, our development team was made up of engineers with relevant experience.

The back end of the Penn Vet application was written on PHP and Laravel. These programming languages have been chosen as it is platform-independent choice and can help coders efficiently run on several operating systems like Linux, Windows, and Unix.
For the Front-end part of the application, our team chose React Native as the most popular language for the successful application. React Native provides a slick, smooth, and highly responsible app interface, while also significantly reducing load time.
