We’ve already worked with the customer on a gay dating app, MUSL, and this time, they wanted to create a version of the app for straight people. The idea was to create not just another dating app but a social networking app providing a more open, trusted, and safe experience. All people need to connect, and HeyHeyHey helps them find exactly what they are looking for at the given moment.

The unique approach of creating three separate profiles (Friend, Flirt, and Fun) brought particular challenges, including ensuring privacy and security, setting up matching algorithms and profile synchronization, and improving user experience.

Three Profiles

Each user has three separate profiles: Friend, Flirt, and Fun, and can easily switch between them. When a user connects with someone within one profile, the other two are automatically blocked from them. This helps users clarify and meet their needs and control what they share with others, keeping their information private and safe.

HeyHeyHey offers a detailed yet clear and concise onboarding and registration process so that users can fully utilize all app features and enjoy a more optimized and personalized experience.

Filters and Chats

HeyHeyHey offers a detailed and clear search filter to find exactly the type of person and connection you are looking for at the moment. The app facilitates easy and fast communication among users through chats, allowing them to create lists of favorites or block users. Users can also post personal photos that others can see only by receiving permission.

Location

Users can look for and connect with people from other cities. You can change location, for example, during working hours so that your co-workers won’t come across your profiles.

Seamless User Experience

The app allows users to view statistics about their interactions within the app, such as profile and photo views. In-app notifications notify users about important changes and activities in the app.
